Industry leaders with experience you can trust

At Stenhouse Lifting, we know that our greatest strength is our people. It’s why we invest so much into training and accreditation. It’s what ensures your safety too.

Here at Stenhouse Lifting, we have the largest team of qualified height safety and lifting equipment service technicians in Southeast Queensland. All our service technicians are accredited by the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) and National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) and have decades of combined experience in testing and repairing auxiliary, lifting and height safety equipment.

Lifting Equipment Engineers Association

Stenhouse is a proud foundational member of the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA). Adam Thompson, our Managing Director, is also part of the LEEA Regional Council board. LEEA is a leading global trade association for all those involved in the lifting industry, with a shared vision to eliminate accidents, injuries and fatalities in the lifting and height safety industries.

Established in 1944, LEEA has played a significant role in the lifting industry by providing training, technical and legal advice, industry standards, health and safety information and the development and examination of licensing systems.

National Association of Testing Authorities

In 2005, Stenhouse Lifting became NATA accredited for Testing ISO/IEC 17025.
The National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) is the national accreditation body for Australia. NATA’s role is to make sure organisations comply with relevant international and Australian Standards to protect the government, industry, and the wider community. This third-party accreditation ensures the competence, impartiality, and integrity of facilities.

Global Lifting Group

The Global Lifting Group (GLG) represents the interests of many of Australasia’s leading lifting, rigging and height safety suppliers. The Group was established to enhance the lifting industry’s local and international capabilities and now has national and international member representation. GLG demands high standards of professionalism and ethical responsibility from its members. Stenhouse Lifting joined GLG in 2010.
