Onsite Service Technician in Brisbane, QLD

Due to increased business growth, we are seeking motivated and reliable person to join our Onsite Service team.

An onsite Service Technician is responsible for inspecting, repairing, and testing of clients’ lifting and height safety equipment in accordance with Australian Standards.  In this role you will be “hands on” requiring you to prioritise and conduct in-house or on-site inspection and testing of clients’ lifting components and equipment. This is an entry level role where we will provide you with all the training, tools and vehicle to be successful in the team.

Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • On and off-site inspection and testing of lifting and height safety equipment
  • Manufacture, maintain and repairs on lifting equipment
  • Liaise with, and work on client sites
  • Provide advice on quality products offered

What we are looking for:

  • Ability to work within a physically demanding role
  • Proven experience working autonomously
  • A current driver’s licence
  • Flexible for occasional regional travel
  • Enter accurate information into Data Management System

Desirable

  • Client focus and the ability to develop strong client relationships
  • Excellent problem solving and time management skills
  • Rigging or Dogging ticket
  • Experience in an industrial environment and/or in the lifting & rigging industry
  • Experience working with Quality and HSE systems, legislation and standards
  • A demonstrated interest in manufacturing and industrial products
